Warlocks clothe themselves in cloth, use curses, fire bolts of shadow or fire and they are masters in using demons to assist them while in combat. Warlocks are very skilled at casting spells and providing others with utility and buffs.
Some warlocks are friendly while others instill terror. Here is a list of some famous warlock names from history. According to scholar Abraham of Wurzburg, Abramelin was a warlock who was very powerful and was proficient at using spirits, both good and bad, to do what he demanded. The Book of the Sacred Magic of Abramelin was published in and immediately became a favorite among those involved in the occult, including famous practitioner, Aleister Crowley. He was known to practice folk magic and is thought to have inherited his witch-like abilities, which could be traced back over years.
George, along with his assistant, Julia Pickingill, would demand beer and money from people in his village. They would give him what he asked for out of fear and respect. George was said to settle arguments between villagers and was able to heal the sick.
Pickingill was one of those warlock names that was comparable to Aleister Crowley, and was thought to assist an ancient god, associated with Satanists, and was very well versed in magic.
Other witches and warlocks sought him out for advice, but he would only help those who could prove that they had come from a family of witches. He was also known to employ only females, who were forced to do more than just work for him.
Eliphas Levi Zahad, born in the 19th century as Alphonse Louis Constant, was responsible for modern magical arts, which earns him a mention in this warlock names list. He was known to take certain aspects from systems, such as Judaism and Christianity, as well as from Tarot reading and the written works of ancient alchemists, to create a new system called Occultism. Eliphas Levi was trained in theology and had considered becoming a priest.
Although he practiced magic, he was considered more of a scholar with his high level of knowledge and charisma. Levi worked closely with an entity known as Baphomet, a gargoyle that was honored by Knights Templar.
Levi believed this entity as a representation of "the absolute" and he ever drew a picture of Baphomet with a figure containing wings and a goat-like head in it, which people would thought when mentioned occultism.
He spent many of his active years as an expert and spokesman of the craft. Buckland currently writes books and practices witchcraft from his home in Ohio.

Forgot password? Notorious Warlock Names. Start Your Writing Now!So Charlie Sheen thinks he's a Warlock? Okay, sure. Let's go with it. The question is which one? So here's a little list I pulled together out of some of the possible contenders. So just sit back and enjoy the show! Ever play Shadowgate on the NES or any of the original systems it appeared on? If not consider yourself lucky, and a far less frustrated individual than myself. Very early on in the game you hear a voice that informs you that the "only thing you will find here is a horrible death!
Everything fricking kills you in this game! Floors collapse, Dragons burn you into cinders, sharks gnaw on you sensitive parts, slime dissolves you into so much flesh-stew, and your skull is crushed by a cyclops who probably proceeds to use it for some sort of horrible unsanitary purpose.
It's pure trial-and-error madness death, and the Lord of the place, an unnamed Warlock is at the heart of it. He's a bitched for making myself and many others have to endure such a masochistic parade of doom. I mean sure he's got a cool trap-filled castle, and is able of summoning a behemoth and shooting deathrays out of his staff.
Or maybe he does, but it's something really lame like Percy, or Jermaine, or, like Melvin. Melvin the Warlock?! Yeah a moniker like that would probably turn most of us to the dark arts bent on world domination too. So while a kickass pad definitely fits within Sheen's, erm, mindset, the most likely crappy name would kill it for our resident Vatican Assassin.
Saradin's one of the only good guys on the list.
Funny Witch Name Generator
That's kind of like a screen test, only it involves a more hookers and blow of every kind you can imaginebut I digress. Saradin started on the side of the devils, working under the evil Wizard Rashidi, who was pretty much the big bad of the entire series, but we'll never truly find out as it's never going to happen since the series creator up and quit on us.
This is probably why he's considered a Warlock and all. So he's obviously an important cat in this tiny strategy RPG series that most of history has forgotten - but hey I'm not a bitter fan or anything. Still, he turns out to be noble "on the inside". What the hell kind of nature is that for a frigging Warlock? I mean the series has the market cornered on these guys, what with them being units you could build in the old RTS games, and a playable class in WoW.
But I don't care how epic your WoW 'Lock is, it's just not as epic as any of the actual named ones from the series roots. That's right, you heard me. The whole army of bloodthirsty, rage-driven Orc and Ogres? He banded them together and led them to invade Azeroth way back when in the original Warcraft.
His list of awesome villainy is pretty superb, tricking and conniving his own people into needless wars, raiding the minds or sorcerers, and summoning various demons and devils to his cause of limitless power and godhood. So baddass in fact that when he was finally ripped to shreds by a host of demons, his skull was still able to be used as a weapon, and he would corrupt any who held it.This article is a list of warlocks that are known from around AzerothOutlandalternate Draenor and Argus.

As a name Alizon, with a Z, is a lovely spin on an old favorite. Angela de la Barthe was one of the most notorious witches of the 13th century.
